NAF - Reef Bull

The development of Reef Bull comes from an interesting story.

We noticed that the deep water acropora from the Solomon Islands always didn’t do well in aquarium. We also heard from the wholesaler that those Acropora grows out of mud. So we were curious and wanted to study the mud.

We sourced some deep water mud from the Solomon Island and put it in our SPS tank sump. And within a day or two, all the corals, from Acropora to torches started to grow faster or look better! Even the forever stagnant rainbow Acropora milliepora started to grow new branches!

We send samples of the tank water before and after we put in the mud to do some organic MS tests. We found that there are 6 kinds of amino acid and vitamin B2 significantly elevated in the tank water in one week putting the mud in the sump. The most significantly elevated amino acid is Taurine. Therefore, we created our amino acid & vitamin blend and named it Reef Bull. Because it energizes the corals to grow just like you give people a Red Bull drink ;).

Ingredients:

Reef Bull Part 1: Water, Taurine, Aspartic Acid.

Reef Bull Part 2: Water, Arginine, Tryptophan, Serine, Threonine, vitamin B2, Ascorbic Acid, Citric Acid.

Dosage:

Dose 1ml for 200 gallon water. A bottle can be dosed for 20,000 gallon.

• Formula is inspired by the Solomon Islands deep water mud. Contains vitamin B2 and taurine to boost coral growth.

• You can manually dose it daily alongside with any 2 part products or calcium reactor. It can also be added directly into NAF 2-part V5 set after each part is diluted to 1 gallon( Do not add Reef Bull directly to other brands’ 2 part or NAF 2-part V4.3 as they are not formulated to keep amino acid stable in the 2 part solution).

• Please monitor the phosphate level in your tank as Reef Bull will help to significantly reduce phosphate.

• If dose it manually, refrigerate Reef Bull Part 2 bottle after open. If adding Reef Bull into NAF - 2-part V5 set for auto dosing, refrigeration of 2-part jug is NOT required.

• Refer to our calculator(coming soon) for amount of Reef Bull to add to your NAF 2-part V5. ONLY add Reef Bull to 2 part set when your tank establishes stable daily alkalinity consumption.
