F.A.Q.
1. What is WYSIWYG?
This stands for "What You See Is What You Get". If you purchase an item with this marking, you can expect that exact coral to arrive. It may look slightly different (pictures may be taken earlier), but we will do our best to keep our coral photos up to date so that they accurately represent our products.
2. What does it mean for my coral to be "fully fallowed"?
Our frag system is 100% fishless. After a frag (or its mother colony) has been in our system for longer than 45 days, it will receive this label. Since our system runs at an average temperature of 80.6 F, this means that our corals are highly unlikely to spread fish diseases such as marine ich, marine velvet, and brooklynella. More information about fallow periods may be found here.
3. How do you keep a fishless system?
We achieve this by dosing phosphates, ammonia, amino acids, and feeding our corals regularly. Please feel free to reach out to us with any questions regarding this.
